Brighton Kaoma, Founder
With a background in broadcasting, public policy in the United Nations, and computer science, Brighton Kaoma has been recognized by President Barack Obama, Chancellor Angela Merkel, awarded by Queen Elizabeth II, The Emperor of Japan, and WWF International’s President, among others. He graduated from the Master’s of Public Administration (MPA) and Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University. He was named to the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Eric Schmidt International Strategy Fellowship, Zayed Sustainability Prize Selection Committee, and is a member of the board at Radio Workshop in South Africa. He regularly speaks at global conferences, has presented at the United Nations, World Bank Group, Wharton Business School, and gave a commencement at Maastricht Business School and Boston Arts Academy.
Alan Chau, Growth and Partnerships
Alan Chau leads Partnerships and Business Development at Amano So. He has represented Amano So at the UN Second World Summit in Doha, Dubai Chambers, United Nations, and the Gates Foundation, and has helped shape partnerships across seven countries connecting emerging leaders with senior executives in government, industry, and civil society. He brings a dual fluency in capital and communications. As Business Development Lead at Zenith Capital Advisory, he works with Series A–B founders in SaaS, fintech, and consumer on fundraising and financial strategy. At the Mellon Foundation, he advised on communications across a $9B grant-making portfolio spanning higher education, arts, and humanities.
Ava Lee, Business Development
Ava Lee attended Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations. Her academic and professional interests span social statistics, data research, public policy, and global health. She has experience working across diverse settings, including time spent with a local law firm in India. She also worked as an Equity Research Associate at Bloomberg in New York City.
